Light and shadow
Took these in March but never got round to posting them. I was on my way into Tate Modern when I noticed the shadow play of the large buildings and the not so large trees.

To jumpstart a different way of taking pictures at the end of the summer, I had the thought that it might be fun to have a monthly theme. I’m sure you can guess what the first one was… I did kind of corner myself in though, because as the weather turned cooler, the red dresses disappeared. Regardless, it was so much more fun to go looking for something specific, and feel the thrill of trying to capture it. Am very curious to see what October brings…

The light coming through the window made me pick up my camera, and looking at the picture later, I was surprised to see everyone so clearly frozen in a moment of time.
New season, new look, new way of blogging. Here’s the thing, I’ve become bored with my photography; to me it feels less considered and merely functional now - a by-product of keeping a blog for a long time. So in order to keep my funny eye, or my eye funny, I need to approach this space differently. Less words for sure, not so much “I did this, then I saw that, and then I went here” anymore, but perhaps letting the pictures speak more for themselves. Let’s see what happens.
